Key Highlights
- Lead functional teams as potential Technical Lead Engineer, Boeing Designated Expert, or REA
- Lead project planning and ensure execution on program commitments as a potential Solar Array REA driving the design, build, test, and installation of solar array substrates, solar cells, panels, and wings to the spacecraft
- Support/Lead design configurations by following regulatory and company approved processes and procedures.
- Perform solar array analysis (deployment, stowed/deployed wing predicts, power analysis, etc) to support the missions team
- Develop mechanical and electrical designs (mechanical/electrical layouts, yoke/structures, harnesses, etc) using Creo and Autocad implementing appropriate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, DFMAT, critical clearance, and material selection processes
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
- Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years related work experience
- Level 3:5+ years of experience in an engineering role supporting solar array technologies
- Level 4: Typically, 9 or more years related work experience
- Level 4: 9+ years of experience in an engineering role supporting solar array technologies
- TS/SCI and SSBI preferred
