- Lead development of test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
- Level 3: 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 3+ years of working with fatigue and damage tolerance analysis
- Experience writing technical reports
- This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
- Level 4: 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with structural analysis on military aerospace products
- Experience with MIL-STD-1530 (Aircraft Structural Integrity Program) and its requirements
- Experience with structural analysis software such as PATRAN/NASTRAN, StressCheck, and Lifeworks
- Experience with Spectrum Generation
- Experience with Full-Scale Fatigue Testing and/or other structural and material testing plans
- Experience working on MRB (Materials Review Board) activities related to aircraft structures.
- Experience with application of classical stress intensity solutions
- Strong oral and written communications skills
