Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • Level 3: 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • 3+ years of working with fatigue and damage tolerance analysis
  • Experience writing technical reports
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • Level 4: 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience with structural analysis on military aerospace products
  • Experience with MIL-STD-1530 (Aircraft Structural Integrity Program) and its requirements
  • Experience with structural analysis software such as PATRAN/NASTRAN, StressCheck, and Lifeworks
  • Experience with Spectrum Generation
  • Experience with Full-Scale Fatigue Testing and/or other structural and material testing plans
  • Experience working on MRB (Materials Review Board) activities related to aircraft structures.
  • Experience with application of classical stress intensity solutions
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
