Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working on Twin Otters, Beechcraft, or Basler aircraft.
  • Completion of an approved aircraft maintenance engineering program, aircraft maintenance diploma, or equivalent technical training.
  • Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) licence issued by Transport Canada, or eligibility to obtain a Transport Canada-issued AME licence.
  • Experience inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and certifying aircraft structural, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, flight control, and related systems.
  • Ability to sign maintenance releases and certify aircraft airworthiness once properly licensed and authorized.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation safety standards, technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to maintain accurate inspection, repair, maintenance, and certification records.
  • Strong aircraft maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft structural, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, flight control, and related systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation safety standards, regulatory compliance, and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, maintenance instructions, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose defects, malfunctions, and required repairs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to safe work practices, quality workmanship, and maintaining aircraft airworthiness.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and support the timely return of aircraft to service.
