Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer who shall be responsible for collaborating with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Project Software Engineers to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and sustain a mission-focused enterprise web application deployed in a containerized Kubernetes Linux environment. This position allows for partial telework.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university or a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, or four (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required.
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Experience developing Bash/Python scripts
- Experience developing with Python in a Linux environment
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience with SQL technologies such as MySQL
- Experience with designing and implementing REST interfaces
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
- Experience with Git Source Control System
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools including Jira and Confluence
- Experience with the Django Web framework
- Experience with the Celery Task Scheduler
- Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Familiar with creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
