Job Description
This position is for a Software Engineer role in the Retail and Lease Securitization product team at Ford Motor Credit Company. The role as a Software Engineer will be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of products. The Engineer will also play an integral role in the team that handles Next Generation Securitization solutions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or related field.
- 13+ years of experience with COBOL, JCL, CA7, DB2/SQL, IBM File Manager and Debugger tools.
- 1+ years of experience with Ford Credit Securitization systems.
- Application of AI-based tools to automate workflows.
- Business Systems Analysis | Process Documentation | Workflow Optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with agile methodology and PDO, experience with JIRA or similar tool preferred.
- Strong experience on advanced SQL and relational database.
- Strong drive for results and ability to multi-task and work Independently.
- Self-starter with proven innovation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
