Key Highlights
- Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
- Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions into the production environment.
- Participates in developing, identifying and implementing conceptual designs and maintaining the program architecture for build.
- Leads and implements manufacturing plans.
- Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.
- (Level 4) 9+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.
- B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Composite Fabrication experience
- Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
- Experience with 3D model-based instruction
- Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA,
- VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi- Monitor Collaborative Rooms
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)
- Experience reviewing and approving other engineers’ work (installation plans, tool orders, line stock checks, etc.)
