Key Highlights

  • Drive market development and build strong, sustainable customer relationships to achieve sales targets
  • Promote, position, and execute the Abbott RDx ID product portfolio within the assigned territory
  • Prepare tailored proposals for customers and manage the full contract process
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activities and provide regular insights and reporting
  • Deliver product and application training to customers within the region

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience in the laboratory diagnostics market in the Netherlands
  • Strong track record in winning new business and building lasting, trust‑based customer relationships
  • Results‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to clearly articulate product features, benefits, solutions, value propositions and total cost of ownership to secure long‑term strategic business
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a consultative approach to identifying customer needs and solutions
  • Positive, energetic team player with a high level of initiative and enthusiasm
  • Excellent organizational, facilitation and presentation abilities
  • Strong communication skills with persuasive impact across different customer levels
  • Driven by objectives, solution‑oriented, able to meet deadlines and committed to customer satisfaction
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 70–80%)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory diagnostics sales
  • Strong understanding of the laboratory environment and diagnostics industry landscape
  • Experience driving or supporting change initiatives within customer‑focused organizations
  • Ability to think creatively and challenge established practices to identify innovative solutions
  • Experience working on strategic topics and contributing to long‑term business planning
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
