Key Highlights

  • Own and lead SEO and AEO strategy across multiple eCommerce properties to drive sustainable organic traffic, revenue, and visibility across search and AI-powered answer engines.
  • Define and execute technical SEO roadmaps, including crawlability, indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and large-catalog optimization.
  • Lead on-page and content optimization strategies, aligning keyword research, search intent, and AI-friendly content structures.
  • Expand organic visibility into AEO, including optimization for featured snippets, People Also Ask, entity-based search, structured data, and AI-generated answers.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams on website migrations, replatforming, and major releases, ensuring SEO integrity and performance continuity.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in SEO for large-scale eCommerce websites.
  • Strong hands-on experience with at least Magento Open Source, and Adobe Commerce, and other ecommerce platforms like Shopify Plus, WooCommerce are a perk.
  • Proven experience managing complex website migrations, theme migrations and large catalogs without traffic or revenue loss.
  • Advanced expertise in technical SEO, including site architecture, crawl budget optimization, log file analysis, Core Web Vitals, and JavaScript SEO.
  • Demonstrated experience with AEO and AI-driven search optimization, including structured data, featured snippets, entity-based SEO, and search intent modeling.
  • Deep knowledge of SEO and crawling tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, SpyFu and related diagnostic platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in analytics and measurement tools, including:
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Looker Studio
  • Hands-on experience implementing, auditing, and validating data layers, custom events, enhanced conversions, and end-to-end tracking setups.
  • Strong command of eCommerce and SEO performance metrics, including organic revenue, conversion rate, assisted conversions, attribution models, and customer journey analysis.
  • Proven experience collaborating on CRO initiatives, including funnel analysis, UX insights, A/B testing support, landing page optimization, and translating SEO traffic into measurable conversion improvements.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets, identify meaningful patterns, and translate insights into clear, actionable SEO and CRO strategies.
  • Demonstrated capability to connect performance data with business outcomes, informing roadmap prioritization and investment decisions.
  • Excellent communication, management, and leadership skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment while maintaining attention to detail and strategic focus.
  • Google certifications (GA4, GTM, Google Ads Measurement).
  • Experience collaborating closely with content, CRO, and product teams.
  • Exposure to headless or composable commerce architectures.
  • Experience aligning SEO strategy with marketing automation platforms such as Klaviyo or Dotdigital (SEO-to-lifecycle alignment).

  • Drive SEO input into website architecture decisions, including SaaS, PaaS, monolithic, and composable setups.
  • Collaborate with paid media teams to align SEO + PPC strategies, audience insights, and SERP coverage.
  • Own SEO performance measurement, dashboards, and reporting using GA4, GSC, GTM, and Looker Studio.
  • Oversee tracking implementation, including data layer validation, event tracking, schema validation, and attribution accuracy.
  • Analyze organic performance and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates, AI search trends, and eCommerce SEO best practices, and proactively adapt strategies.
  • Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and SEO governance.
