Key Highlights
- Monitors emergent offload/overload suppliers including processors, philanthropic, machine shop and sheet metal shop and provides technical assistance in areas like manufacturing, planning and requirements interpretation to ensure delivery schedule compliance and product conformity.
- Identifies, establishes and maintains priorities for deliveries on products, services and data, necessary supplier contractual corrective actions, resolution of issues of poor schedule performance and product producibility and ensure contractual compliance.
- Communicates across functions including procurement agents, suppliers, internal customers, field quality, engineering and manufacturing to report status and concerns.
- Facilitates with the supplier the development of a recovery plan and unplanned demand requirements.
- Evaluates overall supplier health (e.g., symptoms of declining financial stability).
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- 5+ years of experience in problem solving, root cause analysis, and/or corrective action
- Experience in a role that requires Industrial Engineering, Scheduling, Project and/or Program Management skills
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time domestically and internationally, must hold or have the ability to hold a valid passport
- Must be able to work occasional off shift hours, including evening and weekend
- 10+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- Experience in Procurement and/or Contract Administration roles
- Experience in Supplier Quality
- Experience working in Manufacturing Operations
