Job Description
WR has an opportunity for a Software Engineer to formulate and design software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcomes and consequences of design.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance is required to start
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related scientific discipline.
- Three (3)+ years of professional software development experience using one or more of the following: C, C++, C#, Python, Visual Basic, ORM technologies, SQL, containerization technologies, and/or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies: C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, Python, RHEL, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
- Demonstrated software development experience using one or more of these languages within Unix, Windows, Linux, and/or MS-DOS operating environments.
- The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment third-party background check which may include verification of Employment history; Education and/or certifications; Criminal history; Driving Records; Other records or information related to the candidate’s suitability for the position.
