Systems Engineer

Required Qualifications

• Help define and evolve the MDA/C2BMC system architecture.
• Develop and maintain requirements and architecture artifacts (including interface definitions) to support missile defense capabilities.
• Run and support architecture and requirements trade studies to recommend options that improve mission performance, cost/schedule, and technical feasibility.
• Own and improve the requirements management engine: planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring of requirements processes and tools (including traceability, change control, and quality).
• Support program-level risks/issues/opportunities tracking and technology readiness assessments as they relate to architecture and requirements decisions.
• Collaborate frequently with MDA, warfighters, and industry partners to align requirements, interfaces, and system priorities.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• 4 or more years related engineering experience.
• Prior experience in system engineering (e.g. Systems, Design, Architecture, Integration, Requirements or Test).
• Level 4: 7 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Leadership experience to include but not limited to engineering leadership roles and/or leading work and driving teams to success.
• Systems Architecture, Requirements, and InterfacesFamiliarity with missile-defense mission context, especially command & control, battle managements, and communications.Experience with requirements analysis & verification.Experience with requirements and architecture development for complex systems/system-of-systems.Experience using MBSE / requirements tools such as Cameo, DOORS, or similar.Experience supporting architecture / requirements trade studies.
