Job Description
Peraton is hiring a Software Engineer, Systems in Huntsville, AL. This role will be full time onsite. Peraton has a great opportunity to support the Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) program as a systems-software engineer. Working to help the military with missile detection and evade technology. This role works across several high visibility programs at ASE supporting the software team as a system/software SME.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years with AS/AA; 5 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 3 years with MS/MA
- Active Secret DoD Clearance
- Complete understanding of SW Development Life Cycle
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities
- Understanding of system software interfaces, requirements, and interoperation with other systems
- Experience with embedded programing languages
- Fluency in the Microsoft Office toolset
- Knowledge of Agile SW development methodology
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a DoD acquisition project management office
- Software or systems design for DoD systems experience
