Job Description
SEACORP's Combat Systems Business Area is seeking a Software Engineer II. Software Engineers research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. The candidate should have the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and are able to collaborate with others while being able to handle independent tasking. SEACORP leverages its software and engineering expertise to deliver cutting edge warfare systems.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent engineering/technical degree with a concentration in computer science courses.
- At least 2 years’ experience and proven performance in software engineering, including problem analysis and resolution, requirements analysis and definition, design, code, and integration testing.
- Candidate should have U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to collaborate with others while being able to handle independent tasking.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Proven knowledge and experience applying design patterns and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with C++ and/or Java, Spring Boot and ReactJS.
- Candidate should be familiar with RedHat Enterprise Linux and git.
- Knowledge of container technologies and orchestration.
- Experience with combat systems, control systems.
