Job Description
Axiom is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel, Commercial Operations to support a leading hyperscale data centre company on a long-term secondment. This role will partner closely with operation
Key Highlights
- Provide strategic legal advice on a broad range of commercial, procurement and operational matters, partnering with business stakeholders to support key initiatives.
- Draft, negotiate and manage a variety of commercial agreements with customers, suppliers and service providers across multiple business functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, risk-based legal solutions that enable commercial outcomes and support business growth.
- Advise on legal and regulatory matters relating to technology, data, privacy, intellectual property, cybersecurity and other evolving compliance areas.
- Develop and enhance legal processes, contract templates, guidance materials and training to improve efficiency, consistency and governance.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Admitted to practice with strong experience gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal team, advising on a broad range of commercial matters.
- Proven ability to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice and manage complex legal issues in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting commercial contracting, procurement or technology-related matters, with exposure to privacy, intellectual property, cybersecurity or regulatory issues viewed favourably.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and manage multiple priorities effectively.
