Job Description
As a Software Engineer reporting to the Senior Director of Software Engineering, you'll play a key role in building and improving the Nasdaq Questionnaires platform — a SaaS solution supporting governance, compliance, and board-related workflows for corporate clients worldwide. You'll thrive here if you're curious, collaborative, and bring strong engineering fundamentals to a team that values learning, quality, and meaningful contribution across development, testing, deployment readiness, and support activities—not just one technology or layer of the stack.

- 2–4 years of professional software development experience with strong programming fundamentals and core engineering principles.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Foundational knowledge of web application architecture, REST APIs, relational databases, cloud platforms, networking, scalability, queues, background processing, and distributed systems concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; able to collaborate effectively in Agile, cross-functional environments and communicate clearly across teams.
- Comfortable contributing across development, testing, deployment readiness, and support activities, with a willingness to learn beyond a single technology or layer of the stack.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to technologies similar to our environment, such as cloud services, containerization, Kubernetes/AKS, CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, or secure software development in an enterprise or SaaS environment.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development, machine learning concepts, or intelligent automation in a professional or academic context.
- Background in regulated industries such as fintech, capital markets, or enterprise compliance technology.
