Key Highlights

  • Assists with documentation of structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design
  • Assists with tests and/or documentation to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
  • Works under close supervision
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals such as aircraft structure, manufacturing processes, cost and schedule drivers, materials and properties, design criteria, configuration control and release processes

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals such as aircraft structure, manufacturing processes, cost and schedule drivers, materials and properties, design criteria, configuration control and release processes
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Solid grasp of GD & T per ASME Y14.5 (2009/2018) utilizing Model-Based Definition (MBD)
  • Experience in mechanical and structural design, creating, executing and reviewing, structural design models/drawings
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals such as aircraft structure, manufacturing processes, cost and schedule drivers, materials and properties, design criteria, configuration control and release processes
