Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing gaps and modifications between customer expectations and existing product solutions, classifying requirements, and anticipating solution risks. You will contribute to the creation of user stories, assist in designing solutions that ensure processes and applications work in tandem, and evaluate trade-offs during component design. You will convert High-Level Designs into detailed designs, create and configure code to meet business and technical requirements, and assist in selecting appropriate development tools. You will also learn new coding languages and frameworks, build automation scripts for CI/CD and testing, implement telemetry features, and ensure security policy requirements are met. Additionally, you will map customer requirements to test objectives, create and execute test cases, track and analyze defects, troubleshoot performance and availability issues, conduct maintenance procedures, monitor application performance, and evaluate change requests. You will ensure adherence to project milestones and timelines.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related area and 1 year of experience in software engineering or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related area and 3 years of experience in software engineering or related area.
- Experience designing and implementing Apache Airflow DAGs for workflow orchestration and data pipeline automation.
- Experience developing PySpark applications for large-scale data processing and transformation on distributed clusters.
- Experience writing code using object-oriented programming languages, including Python and Java.
- Experience performing load, performance testing, and profiling of applications using JMeter.
- Experience implementing distributed streaming data pipelines using Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures.
- Experience developing web UI using technologies including react.js and typescript.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Cloud Storage (GCS), Dataproc, and BigQuery for cloud-based data processing and storage solutions.
- Experience designing relational database schemas and implementing stored procedures in Azure SQL Database.
- Experience designing and managing data storage solutions using Elasticsearch and OpenSearch for full-text search, log analytics, and data visualization.
- Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes with orchestration tools for automated scaling and deployment management.
- Experience working with Apache Hive for data warehousing and SQL-like query processing on large-scale datasets.
