Job Description
Pratt Miller is a product development company in motorsports, defense, and mobility industries providing clients with product engineering and low-volume production solutions. Our range of research & development, engineering, prototype manufacturing, test & validation, and low-rate production capability help our customers bring their high-quality products to market faster. The Principal Engineer – Software develops embedded software for various on-vehicle applications. The Sr. Software Engineer shall be able to create vehicle level designs and provide feedback on System Requirements. Will lead the implementation and integration of embedded software written in C/C++, Matlab autogenerated.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with five (5) or more years of related experience.
- Embedded software written in C/C++
- Matlab autogenerated
- Embedded software tools
- Version control and configuration management
- Verification and validation
- DevOps and CI/CD software
- Model-based development tool suites
- Modeling tools (such as AMESIM, Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow etc.)
- Hardware-in-the-loop simulators
- UML
- Version control
- Change control
- Issue tracking software
- CMMI level 3 process
Preferred Qualifications
- Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, Python, and SQL database in addition to embedded C/C++.
