Job Description

Skyeton Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to develop, integrate, and support software systems that enable the operation, control, and mission effectiveness of advanced unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). This position will work closely with systems, avionics, manufacturing, and flight operations teams to design reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions supporting both production and deployed aircraft. The ideal candidate is passionate about aerospace technology, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, and enjoys solving complex technical challenges while maintaining the highest standards of software quality, safety, and reliability.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience (entry-level candidates with exceptional internship or project experience may be considered).
  • Strong proficiency in one or more of the following: C++, C, Python, Java
  • Experience with Git or other source control systems.
  • Experience with Linux-based development environments.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented programming.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
