Key Highlights
- Work closely with engineering functions to understand, conceptualize, design, machine and implement / maintain experimental prototypes and test equipment, and associated capabilities for support and execution of the group’s work statement.
- This role requires close, daily engagement with the engineering team regarding all aspects of laboratory operations including daily planning, coordination and execution.
- Associates degree or higher, or equivalent combination of certifications, demonstrated experience
- Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, test equipment, and maintenance practices and requirements
- Hands-on experience with electrical box and, debug and bring-up in a lab environment, gathering data for technical performance measures and performing basic analysis
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher, or equivalent combination of certifications, demonstrated experience
- Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, test equipment, and maintenance practices and requirements
- Hands-on experience with electrical box and, debug and bring-up in a lab environment, gathering data for technical performance measures and performing basic analysis
- Experience with evaluating parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements
- Experience working in machine shop, prototyping and dynamic environment
- Experience working in R & D prototyping environment
- Experience working with multifunctional team
- The ability to work and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams in this multi-disciplinary environment is essential.
