Key Highlights
- Leads a multi-functional team of mechanics responsible for fabrication of various products and processes
- Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines, in multiple facilities/locations
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, processes and products.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly processes and procedures
- 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
- 3+ years manufacturing experience driving improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation and people on production and development programs
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- 5+ years of experience in Composite Fabrication
- Experience directly supporting a proprietary program
- Knowledge working with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and practices
