Key Highlights

  • Support and lead requirements management, development, analyses, decomposition, allocation, testing, validation, and verification, as well as systems architecture, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and CONOPS development.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and technology experts in understanding technology development and integration into current state and future goals for increased functionality, performance, testability, verification, and validation.
  • Support and lead the definition of functional architecture and modeling needs and coordinate efforts across teams to meet deliverables and program milestones.
  • Interface with customers and program management and leadership for systems engineering and integration and test team.
  • Participate in all aspects of systems engineering for current and future phases of program with design, qualification, and eventually production (womb to tomb).

Required Qualifications

  • Partner with subject matter experts and technology experts in understanding technology development and integration into current state and future goals for increased functionality, performance, testability, verification, and validation.
  • Support and lead the definition of functional architecture and modeling needs and coordinate efforts across teams to meet deliverables and program milestones.
  • Interface with customers and program management and leadership for systems engineering and integration and test team.
  • Participate in all aspects of systems engineering for current and future phases of program with design, qualification, and eventually production (womb to tomb).
  • Follow and implement best practices throughout all facets of systems engineering, integration, and test, to understand intent and to ensure successful product development and production.
  • Actively participate in mentoring program for systems engineers to instill cross functional skills in systems engineering, integration, and test, in junior engineers.
  • Ability and wiliness to work occasional compensated ad hoc support outside of typical business hours.

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, data science, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years related work experience, Master+7 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
  • Requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (Has been active in the past 24 months)
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Systems Engineering Experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% domestically
  • Model based Engineering (MBSE) experience
  • Experience with Requirements Management systems such as DOORS
  • 3+ years of experience with requirements verification
  • Experience generating content for and presenting at design reviews (e.g. PDR or CDR)
