Key Highlights
- Advise, assist, and check engineering execution planning for the IAMD portfolio
- Lead the transition of IDE capability from Windchill PLM to the Sapphire tool suite
- Lead the transition of IDE capability (on PAC-3) from 2D drawing authority to 3D/MBD authority
- Document, advise, assist, and check IFPC-2 C-NRPD process planning and execution
- Develop and maintain metrics that inform the IAMD portfolio Chief Engineer on engineering execution performance and quality
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 14+ years of applicable experience in a Design Engineering related role
- Proficiency with tools involving project management best practices (PMBP)
- Advanced knowledge of design concepts and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to influence others
- Ability to support, lead, and delegate the project teams responsibilities and tasks through all stages of the project life cycle
- Experience using Common Non-Recurring Product Development (C-NRPD) or equivalent development processes
- Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area
- Prior Experience with premier development programs
- Understanding of Engineering Standards and Design Practices
- Experience with thermal and vibration environmental testing
- Strong ability to build trust and connection with the team and stakeholders
- Strong ability to model and inspire servant leadership style, and model seek, speak, and listen behaviors
- Flexibility, adaptability, and being comfortable with a highly dynamic and exciting work environment
