Sr. Software Engineer

The Sr. Software Engineer on the Digital Manufacturing Team is responsible for defining the tools, processes, and knowledge to enhance the effectiveness of Allegion’s digital product development teams. This position is fundamental to Allegion Hollow Metal Digital transformation and will approach all aspects of software delivery by identifying, designing, and delivering innovative solutions. The Sr. Software Engineer will approach business problems with a mindset balancing delivery of objectives with the non-functional requirements of the overall platform. Primarily the Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for fostering quality design and development, cross team alignment, and the maturity of technical solutions and the SDLC. Because of the close interaction with business customers, the Sr. Software Engineer role requires an understanding of requirements analysis, cross team collaboration, and developer support. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
