Job Description
Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Systems Software Engineer to help solve some of the most challenging performance and scalability problems in a mission-critical environment. In this role, you'll be forward deployed with a performance engineering team to develop software solutions, build automation, and create tools that provide deep visibility into system and network performance. You'll be involved in everything from analyzing complex datasets and identifying bottlenecks to developing reporting capabilities and automating workflows that improve system reliability and operational efficiency. This is an ideal opportunity for engineers who enjoy being hands-on, working closely with users, and seeing the direct impact of their work. Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, integration, DevOps, or a related discipline.
- Strong scripting or programming experience using languages such as Python, Bash, C, C++, Java, or similar.
- Experience working in Linux environments and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with automation, performance analysis, system monitoring, or network analysis concepts.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineers, administrators, and mission stakeholders.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
- DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (or equivalent)
- This position requires an active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
