Key Highlights
- Design, build, maintain, and execute automated regression test suites.
- Develop automated tests for log and metric ingestion pipelines.
- Validate search and query functionality, accuracy, and latency.
- Test distributed tracing accuracy and end-to-end telemetry flows.
- Validate alert delivery, firing conditions, and routing behavior.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience as an SDET, Test Automation Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or similar technical testing role.
- Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test suites.
- Strong API testing and automation experience.
- Experience with scripting for technical validation and automation.
- Experience with load and/or performance testing.
- Working knowledge of cloud-based environments.
- Experience testing complex backend, infrastructure, data pipeline, or distributed systems.
- Experience working with formal acceptance criteria and Agile development processes.
- 4+ years of professional SDET or test automation experience.
- Strong hands-on test automation skills.
- Strong API testing and API automation experience.
- Experience developing automated regression suites.
- Strong scripting skills for automation, pipeline validation, or log/data validation.
- Experience with load and performance testing tools.
- Experience testing backend, infrastructure-heavy, data-intensive, or distributed systems.
- Working knowledge of AWS environments.
- Working knowledge of Terraform-deployed environments and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
- Working knowledge of OpenTelemetry-based systems.
- Understanding of logs, metrics, telemetry, and distributed tracing concepts.
- Experience validating data or telemetry pipelines.
- Experience testing across multiple environments and/or product versions.
- Experience with defect identification, triage, tracking, and fix verification.
- Experience working with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.
- Experience working with formal acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience testing observability platforms.
- Experience validating OpenTelemetry implementations.
- Experience with log and metric ingestion testing.
- Experience validating distributed tracing.
- Experience testing alerting and notification workflows.
- Experience validating audit trail integrity.
- Experience with failure-injection or resilience testing.
- Experience with high-volume data pipeline testing.
- Experience with security-related regression testing.
- Experience validating Infrastructure as Code deployments.
- Experience testing ERP or complex enterprise platforms.
- Experience working across multiple versions of the same enterprise application.
- Experience with CI/CD-integrated automated regression suites.
