Key Highlights
- Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and design for software systems, automated hardware systems, and industrial robotics
- Develop and maintain code and integrate software components into a fully functional software system
- Perform engineering activities including development, integration, and testing of automated hardware systems
- Influence, innovate and continuously improve the engineering processes as well as the quality, safety and reliability of our products and services
- Collaborate proactively with customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand operational and performance expectations
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 3+ years of industry experience in aerospace or large-scale manufacturing
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of experience in programming and integrating automated manufacturing equipment, including CNC, PLC, and robotic systems, leveraging CAD/CAM and real-time software development
- Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Skilled in applying data modeling techniques and tools to translate complex business processes into scalable data architectures
- In-depth knowledge of cross-functional engineering workflows and their influence on manufacturing, logistics, and business operations
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information across electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to support product lifecycle activities
- Proven ability to drive process innovation and system integration initiatives that optimize manufacturing schedules, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
- Competent in full software development lifecycle within manufacturing environments, delivering integrated solutions from engineering design through production deployment
- Strong collaborator with internal and external stakeholders to ensure automation systems meet evolving operational requirements and performance standards
- Experience with manufacturing assembly knowledge, GD & T, process engineering, drilling and fastening, metrology, linear algebra, geometry, numerical methods, 3D geometry, and computational methods
- Experience with database development, C# ASP.NET CORE MVC, C# ASP.NET CORE Blazor, software development best practices, clean code, Python, C++, Linux and Cloud Development, .NET Core framework, C# ASP.NET CORE MVC
