Key Highlights
- ISS GN & C Mission Engineering Room (MER) console support
- ISS GN & C operations, concept planning, and analysis coordination
- Daily evaluation and status of the on-orbit ISS GN & C subsystem
- Real-time monitoring of the ISS GN & C subsystem during dynamic operations
- Long-term trending of the ISS GN & C subsystem hardware and software performance
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Level 2: Typically, 2 or more years related work experience
- Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years related work experience
- Knowledge of controls, navigation and guidance methods applied to space vehicles
- Knowledge of orbital mechanics and space physics
- Experience or coursework using Matlab/Simulink

- Kalman filter design and error estimation
- Computer programming in common languages
- Simulation and/or system and component level modeling
- Algorithm implementation in real-time systems
- Global Positioning System (GPS) theory
- Attitude control using common attitude and rate sensors
- Space vehicle navigation techniques
