Key Highlights
- Manages employees performing activities in multiple operation support disciplines
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
- Domestic travel up to 10%
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing or Flightline operations
- 3+ experience of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace
- 3+ years’ experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime
- 3+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership
- 3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading team
- 3+ years of experience with forklift/ Motive Equipment Operator
- 3+ years of experience with HAZMAT
- Experience leading or managing in a union represented environment (IAM and/or SPEEA)
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced role with strict deadlines
