Job Description
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our game development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, integrating, testing, and debugging game software for slot machines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including game designers and quality assurance engineers, to ensure the timely release of high-quality, compliant products. This position offers the opportunity to work in a creative environment and contribute to the development of innovative gaming experiences.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of professional experience in a software development team
- 2D and 3D graphics programming experience
- Proficient in C# or C++ with a strong understanding of object-oriented design concepts
- Have a high degree of comfort with software development tools such as IDEs/compilers, debuggers, profilers, and version control systems
- Familiarity with working in a Windows programming environment, including Unity and Visual Studio
- Have strong multi-tasking skills
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Practical, daily experience with AI coding assistants, with the judgment to catch common failure modes - confident-but-wrong answers, hallucinated functions, outdated patterns - and work around them.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Unity or Godot experience is preferred
- Gaming industry experience is preferred, but not required.
- Enjoy working in a creative environment
