Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst

Required Qualifications

• • A minimum of two years of proven experience in M&A project management and execution from an investment bank, lending institution, consulting firm or private equity firm is desirable. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business/Economics Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field preferred.
• • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree a plus.
• • The preferred candidate will be highly proficient in finance and accounting (preferably including IFRS) and Microsoft Office/365.
• • Interest in business development and cross-border transactions, especially in the Middle East, North Africa, Central and South America, would be helpful.
• • Exposure to and knowledge of water treatment processes and the water/wastewater industry a plus.
• • Understanding of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) business model is a plus.
• • Evidence of being a self-starter, and ability to perform in a complex role unsupervised is required. The highest personal integrity is a requirement for all our team members.
• • Exposure to cultural norms in the Middle East, North Africa, Central and South America and North America will be helpful.
• • Strong fluency in written and spoken English is required; fluency in Arabic, French and/or Spanish or Portuguese is desirable.
