The Role We are looking for a Director of Earned & Owned Strategy to lead enterprise-level organic growth initiatives across a portfolio of brands, with a strong focus on local strategy and multi-loca
Key Highlights
- Acting as the executive strategic lead on key accounts, accountable for client success
- Developing integrated earned strategy plans that combine SEO, Local SEO, Content Marketing, AI Search, and Digital Experience, while providing strategic direction to channel managers
- Translating complex business objectives into actionable roadmaps that drive measurable performance outcomes
- Leading local strategy initiatives, including local discoverability, GBP optimization strategy, and localized content frameworks
- Overseeing strategic frameworks for AI Search readiness, ensuring content and technical foundations are optimized for emerging search experiences
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading Earned & Owned Media programs across SEO, Content, Local SEO, or adjacent digital channels in an agency client-facing role (preferred) and/or brand-side organization
- Experience managing integrated digital marketing campaigns that leverage cross-channel insights and collaboration
- Working experience with Web Analytics and SEMRush or similar SEO platforms
- Proven success managing large-scale, enterprise search and content transformation initiatives
- Deep understanding of AI Search evolution and organic discoverability trends
- Excellent time and project management skills, with the ability to identify, prioritize, and respond to situations rapidly
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to unify teams across channels
- Exceptional presentation and executive communication skills; confident advising senior client leadership
