Key Highlights
- Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
- Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in an engineering discipline.
- Willing and able to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
- Willing and able to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally.
- 1+ years of project management experience.
- Experience in the area of Communications and Navigation (e.g. VHF/HF, SATCOM, LRRA, ISS, INR, TCAS, GPS).
- Experience presenting to customers, stake holders and teams.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple team functions.
- Willingness to expand into technical areas without prior experience.
- Desire to continuously improve our airplanes.
