Job Description

As a Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, delivery, and support of modern, cloud‑native platforms that enable LPL’s business and client experiences. This role involves hands‑on engineering across the full development lifecycle, with opportunities to apply AI‑assisted development tools to build secure, scalable, and well‑architected solutions. You will collaborate with partners across Product, Design, Platform, and Operations, contributing to systems that align with LPL’s software development lifecycle (SDLC) and risk management practices.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Experience building full‑stack applications using .NET/C#, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, and relational or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience designing and supporting distributed or service‑oriented systems.
  • Experience developing and deploying solutions on AWS (such as EKS, RDS or Aurora, S3, EventBridge, Athena, or Glue).
  • Experience building ETL processes or data pipelines using structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Experience working across the software development lifecycle, from design through production support.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver work in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with an interest in learning and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, or asset management environments.
  • Exposure to reporting or data processing tools; experience with Python (including PySpark or NumPy) is helpful.
  • Experience with observability, feature‑flagging, and production support in regulated environments.
