Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- • 10–12 years of procurement experience with a specialization in MEP materials, equipment, and subcontracts.
- • Minimum 10 years of procurement experience within the UAE, with an established network of MEP suppliers and subcontractors.
- • Strong technical understanding of MEP systems, specifications, and industry standards.
- • Professional procurement or supply chain certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an advantage.
- SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- • Strong technical and commercial negotiation skills specific to MEP packages.
- • In-depth knowledge of the UAE MEP supplier and subcontractor landscape.
- • Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
- • Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
- • Strong stakeholder management skills, liaising effectively with engineering, site, and finance teams.
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
