Job Description
The role is for a senior engineer with IT software engineering experience to oversee SS&C proprietary applications and automation implementation over cloud infrastructure. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented engineer to contribute to projects and daily operations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of technical operational experience, specifically in server migration, cloud infrastructure, and automated operations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and SQL.
- Experience with Windows and Linux servers, SQL Server, Oracle DB, and scripting - VB Script, Python, PowerShell, etc.
- Familiarity with SFTP tools (e.g., WinSCP) and automation software.
- Competence in Windows Server Administration tools, networking protocols.
- Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong ability to understand and troubleshoot client-specific workflows and automation builds.
- Proven experience in collaborating effectively with other IT departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with various automation tools and job creation processes.
- Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure & computing on its software elements—including remote servers, data storage, networking equipment, and virtualization tools.
