Job Description
Walmart is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team. This role involves analyzing requirements, contributing to user story creation, assisting in solution design, and developing/configuring code. The engineer will also be responsible for identifying and creating test cases, tracking and analyzing defects, and troubleshooting performance issues. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, along with 3 years of experience in software engineering. The role emphasizes experience with various front-end technologies, native mobile development, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks. The engineer will also provide L1 support and collaborate with product managers and backend teams.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 3 years of experience in software engineering or related experience.
- Coding in TypeScript or JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as ReactJS, Redux, Angular, Backbone.js, and jQuery.
- Supplementary technologies such as HTML, CSS, Git, Sass, Stylus, Webpack and JIRA.
- Native Mobile Development (Android and iOS) using React Native and JSS.
- Architecture front-end application solutions.
- Creating JavaScript and React Native libraries when open source solutions do not exist to make the team's workflow easier.
- Leading and training junior developers and contractors.
- Working with product managers, backend teams, and inventory management systems to plan upcoming projects and provide feedback.
- Providing L1 support to applications developed by the team.
- Writing and maintaining unit and E2E test coverage for code quality using JavaScript testing frameworks and libraries such as Selenium, Jest, Jasmine, React Testing Library, Enzyme and Mocha.
- Working with third-party analytics teams to implement analytics tools into the frontend to collect analytics, and improve user experience based on data.
- Building, maintaining or resolving issues in CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
