About the Role We are looking for a motivated Cyber Security Quantification Specialist to join our Quantification Services team as part of a structured development path toward becoming a full Cyber Ri

Key Highlights

  • Support the team in gathering and organising data used for cyber risk quantification (asset values, threat data, control information).
  • Learn and begin applying quantitative risk methodologies (primarily FAIR) under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist in building and maintaining basic loss models and risk scenarios.
  • Help prepare reports, charts, and summaries that translate risk findings into clear, understandable formats.
  • Participate in structured training, certification study, and on-the-job coaching toward FAIR proficiency.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Strong interest in cyber security, risk management, and/or data analysis — no professional experience required.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and basic statistical concepts (we will teach the rest).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills — able to explain ideas clearly. Fluency in Danish and English is a requirement.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or in final year of studies) in a relevant field such as Cyber Security, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline — or equivalent demonstrated interest/aptitude.
  • Willingness to learn new frameworks, tools, and methodologies, and to pursue certification (e.g., Open FAIR) as part of the role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic familiarity with Excel or data tools.
  • Exposure to cyber security concepts through coursework, projects, self-study, or certifications.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python, SQL) — not required, but a plus.
  • Any prior internship, project, or coursework touching on risk, security, or data analysis.
