Job Description
Vital Services is seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our growing Application Engineering department. This is an extraordinary opportunity to be a part of, and play an integral role in, the expansion of our Information Technology team. The core focus of this role is to write clean, secure, and highly efficient code that successfully implements functional requirements, ensuring rapid features delivery and high system reliability across active product and T&M client queues.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years of verified full-stack or backend software engineering experience operating within an agile team ecosystem (experience in multi-client agency or SaaS environments is a plus).
- Solid proficiency in C# languages and core object-oriented programming methodologies in a Microsoft tech stack environment.
- Clear comfort writing optimized queries and interacting with relational or non-relational database engines (e.g., SQL/MySQL).
- Complete fluency with Git workflow mechanics, branching strategies, and handling merge conflicts cleanly.
- A strong track record of taking well-defined, abstract functional requirements and successfully transforming them into live, working software capabilities without needing extensive architectural oversight.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multi-client agency or SaaS environments is a plus.
