Key Highlights
- Actively investigates all privacy matters across the organization.
- Provides guidance, advice, and education for business leads and employees regarding privacy issues in compliance with federal and state privacy laws including HIPAA and applicable global privacy laws.
- Monitors, addresses, and responds to both internal and external reported privacy violations and inadvertent disclosures received via email, phone, and other methods
- Advises business leads on corrective action regarding privacy violations, inadvertent disclosures, ensures completion of appropriate documentation, and written correspondence is completed and maintained.
- Collaborates with Talent concerning corrective action regarding privacy violations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, paralegal preferred.
- Knowledge of Healthcare industry with background in privacy preferred
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a BA and/or PM; BA and health care industry experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience designing and implementing best practices project management methodologies and requirements definition and management practices
- International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)/Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) preferred
- Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
- Expert-level business and system analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytic, organization, interpersonal, prioritization, multi-tasking, initiating, communication, planning and technical skills
- Knowledge and ability in proficient in use of Excel, PowerPoint, platforms for privacy and compliance.
- Ability to take initiative and suggest solutions to problems
- Ability to use software and peripherals related to performance of job responsibilities
- Ability to facilitate teams and client relationships to satisfy needs and identify improvements
- Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management
- Ability to demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service and follow through
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects including continuous evaluation and re-ordering of priorities for self and staff as business needs dictate
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers
- Ability to be flexible and creative in problem solving and identifying process improvements
- Ability to anticipate business needs and think with a business owner mind-set
- Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier and telephone
