Key Highlights
- Manage a team of Engineers in the development, validation, verification, integration and certification including.
- Be responsible for overall planning, execution, and success of complex projects.
- Partner closely with suppliers to establish project plans and manage team execution.
- Maintain resource and skill forecasts to meet project and daily operating requirements.
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical tasks in the areas of the BCA Airplane Systems engineering.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Must have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Computing or Mechatronics).
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
- Experience of Electrical engineering.
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- Experience in the development, integration, and verification of electrical systems.
- Master’s degree in an engineering related field or Business Administration (MBA).
- Experience in requirements management and system safety assessment/functional hazard assessment methodology.
- Experience working within a regulated industry.
- Experience with or a desire to learn and implement more Model-Based Engineering (MBE) / Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods.
