Software Engineer I

Everlaw is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. You’ll own complex product features from idea to full release, operating with significant autonomy across our entire tech stack to shape how legal teams uncover truth in vast amounts of data. Rather than being a cog in a massive pipeline or working under strict sprint cycles, you’ll build systems end-to-end alongside a dedicated product lead and designer, focusing on deep code quality and long-term maintainability. This is a full-time, exempt position based in our Oakland, CA office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home on Tu/Fr.
