Job Description
AMETEK PDS is seeking an energetic, innovative, software engineer to join our exceptional and growing engineering team. We design advanced, high-reliability, aircraft power distribution systems. Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of common communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, USB, UART, and others.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to read electronic schematics.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Great communication, teamwork and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Airborne software development experience using DO-178C.
- Requirements capture using DOORS.
- Experience developing support applications using C/C++, or C# .NET with Visual Studio.
- Microsoft Excel development experience using VBA.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
