Key Highlights

  • Carry roughly 10 pods (about 20 fellows across 8 to 12 host organizations) full-time from pre-Basecamp through final day, calibrating your time across the portfolio rather than sinking into one pod
  • Facilitate weekly 1:1s with all Fellows who report to you and document their progress, challenges, and successes using the tooling Claude Corps operates on
  • Coach fellows through ambiguous projects, helping them clarify the problem, understand organizational context, identify stakeholders, and determine the right next step
  • Give structured feedback on fellows’ real work, including project plans, roadmap drafts, architecture proposals, presentations, technical implementations, and QBR deliverables
  • Help fellows strengthen the professional skills required to succeed inside their host organizations, including communication, stakeholder management, presentations, prioritization, and navigating feedback

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of previous professional experience in software engineering, IT, data, technical program management, implementation, solutions engineering, forward deployed engineering, technical consulting, AI operations, or another technically adjacent role
  • Hands-on, current experience using modern AI tools and workflows. You should be able to speak concretely about how you use tools such as Claude, AI agents, LLM-based applications, automation, or similar technologies to solve real problems
  • Real coaching, mentorship, people-development, or management experience with concrete examples of helping someone navigate a challenge and become more successful
  • Experience working across stakeholders to understand a problem, clarify needs, recommend or implement a solution, and help people adopt a new way of working
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions, coach someone through an important presentation, and provide thoughtful asynchronous feedback
  • Comfortable operating as a technical generalist: you can learn quickly, ask the right questions, understand unfamiliar systems, and bring in deeper expertise when needed
  • Comfortable coaching early-career professionals through ambiguity, feedback, organizational dynamics, and the expectations of working in a professional environment
  • Comfortable with remote, synchronous obligations across U.S. time zones and about two evenings a month for cohort sessions and milestone reviews

Preferred Qualifications

  • Client-facing consulting or implementation experience, particularly working with small businesses, nonprofits, education organizations, or teams adopting new technology
  • Experience helping an organization adopt AI, automation, new software, or another significant change in how work gets done
  • TA, bootcamp coach, fellowship mentor, instructor, manager, career coach, or other experience developing early-career technical talent
  • Experience facilitating workshops, presentations, professional learning, or technical training
  • Experience in a small or scrappy organization where understanding the business context was as important as delivering the technical solution
