Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to assist with the maturing of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) efforts. Work will primarily involve the development, deployment, and maintenance of CMDB integrations and ServiceNow discovery schedules in coordination with service providers to improve the quality of the CMDB in support of ZTA goals. In particular, the engineers will populate ZTA relevant attributes on Configuration Items (CIs).
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 11 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors or Masters degree
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow Development Platform including, but not limited to, CMDB, Asset Management, Change Management, Integration Hub, and Custom Development
- Ability to Customize and configure ServiceNow application and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules
- Ability to Configure Application UI and Configure Workflow to include integration and discovery in support of ZTA efforts
- Capable of building integrations utilizing REST/SOAP web services, JDBC/SQL
- Understanding of JSON and XML data formats
- Understanding of basic ZTA principles
- Experience working as part of an Agile team utilizing JIRA to demonstrate completed work within sprints
