Job Description
Associate Application EngineerComposed of Chromalox, Durex Industries, Vulcanic, and Thermocoax businesses, Electrical Thermal Solutions (ETS), part of Spirax Group, creates electrical process heating
Key Highlights
- Design and quote premium solutions for standard and customer specific thermal applications.
- Coordinate quotation and order entry activities with sales force, engineering, and plant personnel including sample orders and drawings for approval.
- Understand markets and competition in each market to manage quotation of competitive designs.
- Assist Sales Engineers by providing expertise to offer optimal thermal solution for unique applications.
- Determine requirements for materials and related cost for product designs by working with engineering and purchasing departments.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering is preferred. Appropriate technical degree or equivalent experience required.1-5 years related experience.
- Working experience with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in verbal, written, and presentation formats to all types of audiences.
- Strong customer service and time management skills.
