Job Description
The Software Development Engineer L3 contributes to the ScriptMed Cloud Platform within Inovalon’s Pharmacy Business Unit. This is a mid-level engineering role centered on C#, SQL, and scripting, with a focus on building scalable systems, supporting new customer onboarding, and identifying opportunities for automation. This person will partner closely with a stateside systems engineer, take ownership of projects, and serve as a liaison between business requirements and a distributed engineering team.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role;
- C# proficiency required; this is the primary development language for this role;
- SQL knowledge required; ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot queries;
- Scripting experience for automation and tooling purposes;
- Ability to take ownership of projects and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and test-driven development practices;
- Experience working with or communicating across distributed or offshore team structures is a plus;
- Strong troubleshooting aptitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology required.
