Key Highlights

  • Perform and lead commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance support, and technical handover activities on wind turbines across project and service scopes
  • Execute field activities in compliance with established safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Support turbine energization, functional verification, fault diagnosis, and return-to-service activities
  • Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues using a structured, systematic approach
  • Perform maintenance, retrofit, and inspection activities on wind turbine electrical systems and related equipment

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant electrical qualification, such as City & Guilds in the UK, Anlagen Elektroniker in Germany, or equivalent in accordance with EN 50110
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical apprenticeship
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, retrofit, commissioning, or service activities in wind, industrial, or related field environments
  • Knowledge of wind turbine system safety regulations
  • Working knowledge of BS 7671 18th Edition, The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, and EN 50110 Safe Operation and Maintenance of Electrical Installations
  • Experience working with power distribution systems up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC
  • Experience working with power distribution boards rated over 63A
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and support safe field execution
