Job Description
Freddie Mac’s Multifamily Line of Business is undergoing a significant digital modernization and transformation. This role is an opportunity to be part of this exciting journey. The Senior Software Engineer will influence outcomes, guide transformation, and shape the evolution of the team and organization. This position requires leveraging experience and success in coaching and transforming technical teams to adopt a modern execution model. The ideal candidate embraces change and innovation, possesses strong Agile delivery principles, and has robust technical skills to drive solutions and architecture. This role demands full-stack proficiency across key modern languages, with the expectation of deep involvement in all aspects of the code.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience engineering solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of demonstrated experience leading modernized development teams at an enterprise level.
- Highly proficient in Full Stack development (React, Java script, Python, Java, Angular).
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with Modern Tools: Jenkins, Cucumber, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git.
- Experience with DBs: PostgreSQL, Mongo.
- Experience with Cloud: AWS/OCP.
- Experience with Other: EKS, Docker, OpenShift.
- Technical knowledge of communication channels, deliverability, and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced studies and degree preferred.
- Thoughtful and inspiring leader.
