Job Description
A defense and aerospace technology organization is seeking a Lead Software Engineer / Cloud Architect to own the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, cost-efficient cloud solutions on AWS. You'll work onsite alongside the customer, translating mission requirements into architecture and guiding it from whiteboard through deployment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance (no exceptions — clearance must be current)
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering + 9 years relevant experience
- Demonstrated AWS cloud development experience building production applications
- Experience preparing comprehensive architectural designs
- Security+ or equivalent DoD IAT Level II certification, or ability to obtain shortly after hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IATT and ATO certification processes
- Automating deployment and configuration of EC2 instances
- Familiarity with C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments
- GitLab pipeline configuration for automated cloud resource deployment
- Prior on-site/field experience
